The internal architecture utilizes a true 1:1 clone of the 4130 movement, omitting dummy plates in favor of a fully integrated chronograph gear train. Actuating the pushers engages the column wheel and vertical clutch with a satisfying, mechanical snap. Winding feels tight and responsive, while the rotor operates quietly inside the Oystersteel case.

wore this out to austin last weekend for a buddy’s bachelor party and it looked totally legit on the wrist. the pushers have a really good snap to them and the chrono seconds hand sweep is incredibly smooth. great everyday piece that feels super sturdy.

I have carefully checked the dial execution and the printing of the text is very uniform. Furthermore, the luminescent material on the indices activates very fast and glows brightly in low light, matching the correct blue tone. The steel polishing on the case flanks shows good reflections without any bad distortion. Greetings from Geneva.

i picked this up right before my trip to the swiss alps hoping it could handle some daily abuse and it totally held up great the overall heft is exactly what you want it feels really solid on the wrist and the weight makes it seem totally authentic compared to my real sub you really cant tell the difference in mass its just a dense chunk of oystersteel that wears comfortably all day without feeling cheap at all.

the watch is fine but the courier just left the package out in the rain and totally crushed the outer box. thankfully the actual watch inside was safe and completely unharmed.

The platinum fill on the tachymeter bezel is really sharp and the SELs are super tight. Easy GL from me, practically NWBIG. See attached pics.

Initial impressions were really good, mostly because the automatic winding is quiet and I don’t hear the rotor spinning loudly on my wrist like on some other models. Edit (3 months later): Still keeping great time and survived a full week in a hotel pool in Miami without fogging up.

The hands and markers have really bright lume that lasts a while in the dark. Would be five stars but my local post office delayed the delivery by an extra day.

took this with me on a weekend train down to munich and it performed very well. the ceramic bezel is actually spot on and the engraved numbers are super crisp in the bright sunlight. docked one star just because the clasp was a tiny bit stiff out of the box but some basic oil fixed it right up.
