The beating heart of this piece is the Asian Super Clone 4131 movement, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. I refuse to pay the insane gray market premium for a modern Daytona… especially when VSF is producing this level of quality!!! The history of this brand is incredible and having this execution on my wrist feels amazing… I am absolutely stunned by the exact matching of the grey dial and the perfectly applied hour markers!!! I play a lot of golf and needed a heavy, reliable watch that can handle the shock without the movement dying entirely on me. The Dandong 4131 in this VSF is absolutely rock solid so far, but what really stands out is the exact matching of the grey sunburst dial and the crispness of the black sub-dial rings. It completely shames the garbage I bought off DHGate a couple of years ago that literally felt like a hollow tin can. The Cu-W weighting here makes the entire case feel incredibly substantial on the wrist.

As a first-time buyer I was extremely skeptical about spending this much on a replica, but I am completely blown away by the overall finish. The sapphire crystal clarity is unbelievable and there is a very subtle black-hole effect that makes the hands and dial pop perfectly under indoor lighting. I remember seeing a buddy’s old Noob V4 Daytona years ago and thinking it looked so incredibly cheap and thick, but this VSF is in another league entirely. The case weight feels completely authentic.
